Why invest in Poland

Polska Consult Holland (PCH) is your Dutch partner for investing and doing business in Poland. We advise and support companies with company formation, real estate, acquisitions and tax opportunities, and act as a Polish-Dutch interpreter.

Poland is one of the fastest-growing economies in the EU. GDP grew 3.6% in 2025 and the European Commission forecasts 3.5% growth in 2026. Its central location, large domestic market and well-educated workforce make it a magnet for foreign investors: the number of investment projects rose 13% in 2024.

Since 2018 the Polish Investment Zone (Polska Strefa Inwestycji) has replaced the former fourteen Special Economic Zones. It offers a corporate income tax exemption for new investments across all of Poland, no longer only in designated zones. PCH knows this system and connects Dutch and Polish companies.

Polska Consult Holland, Sasia, you served us impeccably and highly professionally. The guidance both here in the Netherlands and in Poland was excellent. You helped us in Poland not only by acting as an interpreter, but by scheduling appointments so efficiently that we were done within a single day. This let us complete the notary, KSSSE, bank and various other matters quickly in one day. The documents were also neatly translated from Polish to Dutch and vice versa. Our business plan too, impeccable.

We have chosen a very personal approach to the market and are supported in this by the knowledge, language and cultural background of Ms Sasiadek of Polska Consult Holland. As we are still at the start of exploring the Polish market, we will define Ms Sasiadek's practical involvement in consultation.

We would like to thank you for the way in which you taught our Polish employees the basics of the Dutch language in a very short time. Your professional approach to translating and verifying the authenticity of confidential documents was, in our view, excellent. We hope to make use of your services again in the future.

Frequently asked questions about investing in Poland

Why invest in Poland?

Poland is one of the fastest-growing economies in the EU, with 3.6% GDP growth in 2025 and 3.5% forecast for 2026. A central location, a large domestic market, a well-educated workforce and tax benefits via the Polish Investment Zone make it attractive to Dutch investors.

What is the Polish Investment Zone (PSI)?

The Polish Investment Zone is a scheme that replaced the fourteen Special Economic Zones in 2018. Companies can now obtain a corporate income tax exemption for a new investment anywhere in Poland, typically for twelve years. The level depends on region and company size. PCH guides the application.

How much corporate tax do you pay in Poland?

The standard rate is 19%. Small companies pay a reduced rate of 9% under certain conditions. There is also the Estonian CIT, where you only pay corporate tax when you distribute profit, which makes reinvesting attractive.

Can I as a Dutch national buy real estate in Poland?

Yes. As an EU citizen or company you generally need no permit for most real-estate purchases in Poland, unlike investors from outside the EEA. PCH guides you through the purchase, the notary and the local legal process.

How do I set up a company in Poland?

The most common legal form is the sp. z o.o. (private limited company), with a minimum capital of 5,000 zloty. A simple incorporation via the online S24 system takes a few days. PCH arranges the formation and guides you through the formalities.

What exactly does Polska Consult Holland do?

We guide Dutch entrepreneurs investing and doing business in Poland: as intermediary, adviser and point of contact. Think of company formation, real estate, acquisitions, tax questions and translation or interpreting.
