Opportunities in Poland / Sectors

Promising sectors

The various economic zones in Poland each have their own sector with their own conditions. Here we set out the different categories.

Technology sector. To foster cooperation between science and business, real estate and technical infrastructure are set aside. Entrepreneurs who settle in a technology zone can count on strong support when establishing and/or developing a company. Incentives are also granted for technology transfer, development work on new technologies and the application of research results.

Industrial and technical sector. The industrial and technical zones aim to push innovation towards Poland. Because each zone has its own character and features, different conditions apply to each area. You will find a distinction between technology, industry, science and the combination of industry and technology.

Industrial sector. The industrial zones cover regions intended for large production facilities, where the conditions for establishment are favourable. We are always available to discuss the location of these zones and the opportunities they offer.

Science sector. These regions are led by experts. The main goal of science zones is to encourage innovation, researching new technologies and using science to improve competitiveness and set up test models.

EU funds. For international entrepreneurs with a company established in Poland, the opportunities abound. For 2021-2027 Poland was allocated 76.5 billion euro in EU cohesion funding. The EU makes these funds available when you have established a company in Poland that aims for profit, focuses on production or services, and can demonstrate that it can finance at least 25% of the project itself or through a bank. PCH can guide you in obtaining EU funds: applying for the procedure, devising strategies and preparing sector analyses.
