Doing business in Poland
Polska Consult Holland (PCH) supports Dutch and Polish companies by bringing them together. Years of experience can be put to work for both parties this way.
For 2021-2027 Poland receives 76.5 billion euro in EU cohesion funding for social, economic and spatial structural strengthening, with an emphasis on infrastructure, innovation and the green transition. Together with the Polish Investment Zone, which has offered tax benefits across all of Poland since 2018, that makes a vast market, and at the same time a challenge for Dutch companies to enter successfully.
Culture management. Eat first, then do business! Poland is a country where you have to take your time, not a country to conquer quickly with a 'big bag of money'. If you come for the quick win, forget it. Business is done the French way here: it is important to get to know each other well first, and once there is a click, business can follow, not the other way around. The language barrier should not be underestimated either, especially with Polish SMEs, where the national language dominates.
Polska Consult Holland provides assistance on investment projects, acts as your intermediary and your expert adviser on projects under development. PCH has an extensive network among local authorities and knows the way to and within government agencies.
PCH has guided projects for entrepreneurs in industry, construction and social housing. Dutch developers are regularly invited to collaborate on many real-estate projects in Poland, where the property market is thriving.
